Open Camps is a community-run conference focused on the use of open source technologies to address humanitarian issues and pursue the UN’s GlobalGoals. This is the world’s largest mission-driven open source conference, with 6,000+ attendees joining for 25+ conferences & events, featuring 400+ sessions on dozens of open source technologies.
The Unite for Humanity Hackathon, part of the Open Camps, strives to create solutions to some of our world’s most pressing problems. This year, one of the challenges was around the use of social media and narratives to push back against extremism.
Muflehun provided expert advice on the nature of the challenge throughout the week and was a judge for the finalists.
